Kandy’s look is puzzling, a red dress with puffed, off-the-shoulder sleeves, a gauzy train, and gold and silver embellishments around the neckline. Gottmik looks fantastic in a bright latex dress, sky blue with clouds on the top, a rainbow on the skirt, and carrying a sun clutch. On the runway, the queens start with Daytime 2021. The shade hits a bit too close to home and Elliott has even fewer fans in the workroom as they finish getting ready. Instead, he gets off to a shakier start, stirring up some drama by poking Kandy about the history of queens with drag family ties to past contestants getting eliminated early. If they knew he’d been voted out by the Porkchopped queens right from the jump, he likely would have received a warmer reception. Tina later addresses this, getting the full tea about how Elliott wound up with their group. These queens do not trust him, suspecting a spy in their midst. Kandy sets up his station next to Symone and LaLa and immediately brings up Elliott’s return. Gottmik is living his Drag Race fantasy, enjoying actually being in this moment that he’s dreamed about. It’s a minor blip, however, and the episode moves right along. Elliott’s entrance is treated as a reveal, but because only Tina has met him previously, and in drag, no one recognizes him. The queens are less than thrilled to hear they’ll be joined by another contestant: Elliott with 2 Ts. The RuMail siren goes off and Ru teases the upcoming episode before heading into the workroom in a fabulous cream animal print suit and Stetson. As any alumnus would tell them, it’s not so easy. The winning queens already suspect the others may be back at some point, but they’re happy to consider themselves the official top six of season 13. Over in the workroom, the winning queens skip in and react to the start of their first full day. A few of the queens look troubled, but Rosé is already going for a cutthroat edit, celebrating having one fewer queen between her and the crown. Defeated and emotional, Elliott walks out in a daze. The anxiety builds as the queens vote again, but as viewers will later be informed, the tie-breaking vote is unanimous: Elliott has been Porkchopped a second time. The first vote is a tie, with Elliott and Utica the unfortunate winners. They don’t like the position they’re in, having to vote one queen out, but as Joey says, they did sign up for this. Thankfully she had the skills to save herself in the lipsync, but it’s time to step up.The episode begins right where the premiere left off, with Joey, Denali, Tamisha, Utica, Rosé, Kahmora, and Elliott stewing in the Porkchop Loading Dock. The final look secured her fate at the bottom though. We LOVED her money bags look though, with that colour palette and her bald head and exquisitely beaten mug making us want to look at her all day.įull credit to her for trying to sell the bag outfit that was clearly falling apart at the seams, but that was dead on arrival before she even put it on and she knew it. But Carson had a point – having the bones be more structured would’ve helped elevate the look a little more. Taking her Bag O’Bones so literally – walking down the runway in a burlap sack, had us cracking up. Her amazing confessionals can only get her so far. But she’s not matching up with her competitors, and that’s the biggest problem. LaLa broke our hearts this episode – that BLM chat seemed far too raw to be going over so soon and is clearly hitting too close to home.Īs each week goes on we’re warming to her more and more. LaLa wasn’t in her strongest week but we’re still liking her energy (Picture: VH1)
